Calgary (November 9, 2012) - Friends of Canadian
Broadcasting will host a forum on the future of public broadcasting in Canada
for candidates in the Calgary Centre by-election.
Candidates whose parties are represented in the House of
Commons have been invited to participate as follows:

confirmed)

pm to 9:30 pm - Candidate Forum on the Future of Public Broadcasting in Canada
Where: Kahanoff
Centre, 2nd floor, 105 12 Avenue Southeast
"We welcome the candidates' interest in the future of public
broadcasting in Canada and the 1270 families who support Friends of Canadian
Broadcasting in Calgary Centre are keen to know where the candidates stand,"
says Friends spokesperson Ian Morrison.
Friends has also launched a website at www.friends.ca/calgarycentre
with an online petition to the candidates called We Vote CBC.
