Overview
COMPAS polled 400 Atlantic Canadians after the announcement of changes to the CBC to gauge residents’ attitudes toward proposals for reduced local news coverage. Major findings include:
- More than two-thirds of residents oppose the proposed changes
- Two-thirds want their MPs to fight to preserve existing supper-hour news programs
