Welcome to the website for The Dalton Camp Award.
In December 2002, FRIENDS of Canadian Broadcasting announced The Dalton Camp Award to honour the memory of Dalton Camp, a distinguished commentator on Canadian public affairs.
The Dalton Camp Award will go to the winner or winners of an essay competition on the link between democratic values and the media in Canada. The award is available to up to two Canadians each year. Each award consists of a prize of $5,000, as well as a bronze cast medal by the late Canadian sculptress Dora de Pédèry-Hunt.

Ethan Rabidoux of Stratford, Ontario and Rosalyn Yake of Peterborough, Ontario are the 2010 winners of the Dalton Camp Award.

The 2011 Dalton Camp Award rules and deadline will be posted in fall 2010
